Americans wishing to renounce their citizenship must pay four times the amount as the increasing number of those wanting the service 'to avoid paying taxes' rises.

The State Department once charged $450 for the service but now those wishing to say goodbye to America will need to pay a whopping $2,350. Get out while you can still afford to do so.
