Limits to Growth was right. New research shows we're nearing collapse.

The 1972 book Limits to Growth (written in a Rockefeller villa in Italy) was an exercise in social engineering and did a great job. None of it's predictions has come close to being true, but 42 years later people still defend it's findings.
